Sue joined LCN’s forerunner Power Laundry and Cleaning News in 1977 as secretary to the advertisement manager, a role that continues, and became journal assistant in 1993.
Commenting on her promotion Chris Shepherd said: “Sue has worked with me for more than 28 years during which time her role has been greatly expanded.
“In particular, Sue runs LCN’s stand at numerous exhibitions around the world and more recently has increasingly become involved in a sales capacity. Her promotion recognises her hard work and team dedication.”
Sue said: “My job involves a fair degree of pressure plus the need to constantly work to deadlines yet I have always liked it. I especially enjoy travelling and meeting so many advertisers and readers from all corners of the world.”
