The agreement will significantly extend Alliance Laundry’s range of brands and products, giving it Ipso and Cissell, both marketed worldwide, to add to its current portfolio. It is best known for its Speed Queen, Ajax, Huebsch and UniMac brands.
LSG’s commercial laundry division is based in Wevelgem, Belgium and has plants and sales offices in the USA and Belgium.
"The addition of the Ipso and Cissell brands and (the division's) soft-mount washer-extractor product line significantly strengthens our ability to participate in the global laundry marketplace," said Alliance Laundry's president and chief executive officer Tom L'Esperance.
Alliance Laundry is an indirect subsidiary of ALH Holding Inc, a portfolio company of Teachers' Private Capital, the private investment arm of the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan.
