Martinizing Dry Cleaning franchise, which claims to be the largest US-based franchise for this industry, is introducing introduce a more diverse business model and at the same time bringing the affiliate brands that provide a route service under the Martinizing name.

The business model includes pick-up and delivery services for both commercial and residential customers and as well as adding locker-based and on demand services. It is being introduced to a large network of consultants and as a result two new franchisees are set to join the organisation.

Martinizing Dry Cleaning is part of the multi-concept franchisor, the Huntington Company which announced the changes at its first international convention in Detroit. Huntington CEO Wayne Wudyka said that it was no longer sufficent to run a retail drycleaning store and expect growth. "The Martinizing brand is " uniquely positioned to build on its industry leading awareness and national presence." So the rebranding of affiliates will include 1-800-DryClean, a leader in residential route service, and Pressed4Time, which serves commercial locations. Both will add the Martinizing name to their logo.

Now the business model will include locker-based services and an on-demand service via a mobile app , both of which result from Wudyka"s investment in the Chicago-based app development firm DRYV.
