Supporters of last year's pilot including the TSA, and the Guild have decided that although the idea was innovative, they need to look more closely at the concept and the way it is funded.
A statement issued by the TSA said that any future national promotion must be well targeted, attract wide industry support and deliver real value to participants.
The review may lead to a such an event being held next year.
