New boss forJ&A

7 December 2000

Charles Fry has become MD at J& A International, the supplier of decorations for the garment rental market, following the departure of former MD Jeremy White in November 2000.

Charles has had a long association with J & A, but joined the company as sales and marketing director earlier last year. In his new role he will be responsible not only for J & A but also for its sister company, the casual workwear specialist, ID Textiles.

Commenting on his new post, Charles Fry said that his links with J & A go back many years and he had seen the company mature to become market leader. "J & A has always prided itself on its working partnerships with customers. I want to consider every area where those customers meet J &A and to refine and develop systems and products so that the company is seen to be the best in all it does." A J&A spokeswoman said that Charles Fry came from a strong customer-led business and had a lot of energy and expertise which the company wanted to channel. J & A was looking to the future and was sure its new md would deliver challenging developments not just for the company but for the industry.
