NLP wins YHA contract

15 September 2001

Under the deal, NLP which provides a network for independent laundries throughout the UK, will service around 3million bed/nights per year from the YHA's 230 hostels in England and Wales.

This is the single largest contract that NLP has won since it was established at the end of last year and chairman John Shonfeld is delighted.

"The NLP was set up last year to provide a cost effective service to customers on a national basis. By using independent laundries, NLP can provide a more personalised service but with service quality guaranteed," said Shonfeld.

"The YHA contract will be serviced by almost 30 independent laundries and we are currently recruiting several additional members in order to reduce the cost of distribution."
