Oeko-Tex revises rules for Textile Standard 100

17 January 2014

Revised rules for Oeko-Tex Standard 100 will come into force from 1 April 2014, following a three-month transitional period.

The textile and clothing industries use Oeko-Tex criteria in their quality control to ensure protection against undesirable chemical substances.

The revisions include updated test criteria and limit values for use when testing textiles for harmful substances.

Full details of the changes can be obtained from the Oeko-Tex Secretariat, the Oeko-Tex institutes or representative offices.
