Pegasus Textiles has seen significant growth over recent years to become a key player for supply of chefs’ uniforms, table linen and bespoke luxury textiles to UK laundries.

Following the strong success and due to ambitious future plans, the company has now appointed a new managing director, Bryn Sutton. Bryn has been in the textile business for over 20 years and joins Pegasus following a successful career as the sales, service & marketing director for London Linen.

Ivan Zhou the founder of Pegasus said:  “It was a natural fit. We have huge ambitions for the company and our aim is deliver to our customers unparalleled value. Bryn not only brings a wealth of experience in doing that but his approach to managing the customer experience is formidable and will be central to our development.”

Bryn will also head global sales for the Yulan Textile Group, the parent company of Pegasus Textiles. Yulan specialise in yarn dyed fabrics producing over 150 million metres of fabric a year for customers across the globe.

Bryn said: “I am delighted to be joining the Pegasus family. My passion remains simple – meet great customers, make them happy and enjoy the journey. This is core to Pegasus culture, so the choice was easy. This alongside the serious investment planned and the challenging strategy agreed, makes the prospect so exciting for me.”

Pegasus Textiles has already signed off on a £5m warehouse facility in Leeds, where it intends to manage the largest stockholding of uniforms and linens in the UK.

Pegasus has also secured a full pollution control licence from the Chinese government. This rare award means the business now enjoys the highest sustainable standards and can further develop its range of recycled fabrics.

With its past success, future vision and clear direction, Pegasus Textiles look to be well positioned to become an even higher flier.
