Press pays tribute to winning cleaner

Foreva Dry Cleaners of Mill Hill, London, one of the winners of Laundry and Cleaning News’ Dry-cleaners of the Year competition, has received local press coverage and publicity as a direct result of its win.

The shop was set up by Eva Lauer four and a half years ago.

Its manager, Phyll Scarborough, completed the intensive series of questions and, as a result of her knowledge of cleaning methods and customer service techniques she was named as one of the nine individuals to join the ranks of Britain’s best cleaners.

“I get my name on a certificate, and Eva gets a good name for her shop,” said Ms Scarborough.

”The local press covered the event and we were one of two shops in London to win. It was good because none of the ‘big boys’ won. It was all small shops like ours,” said Ms Scarborough.
