Ross joins Skillset team

29 July 2010

Fashion and textiles businesses including the textile care industry joined Skillset in April this year, giving employers a stronger voice on skills issues for the future.

Ross, who has represented fashion and manufacturing companies across the UK, will be based in Scotland and is responsible for coordinating major strands of work, liaise with strategic partners and make sure employers are represented in the devolved nations.

“Ross is a huge asset to the organisation and will be pivotal to driving forward the fashion and textiles skills and education agenda in the devolved nations,” said Skillset chief executive Dinah Caine. “Skillset represents a broad range of creative businesses and this move will provide the creative industries with an even stronger voice.”
