The Russian Association of Dry-cleaners and Launderers has opened its first drycleaning training centre, which is based at a 17-storey building created in co-operation with the Moscow College of Hotel Management.
The centre will provide 2 - 3 year courses to train students that want to have a career as professional launderers and drycleaners. In addition it will hold short, one and two-week, specialist courses on spotting, washing and ironing.
CINET, the umbrella association for the professional textile care sector, will make its E-Dryclean and other E-learning programs available to the centre.
The Russian Association of Dry-cleaners and Launderers was founded in August 1998 with the aim of bringing together drycleaners, launderers, research and educational institutes and suppliers to protect the interests of the laundry and drycleaning industries and to improve the quality and services available in the textile care sector.
