Sandra Pearce retires from the Guild

15 September 2001

Chairman Mike Clark has praised Sandra's hard work during her long service and expressed the Guild's thanks.

It was Sandra who suggested a star-based scheme for the Guild's qualification programme. Q-Stars were launched in 1999 and have proved successful.

Mr Clark added that the Guild wanted to continue to improve its service to members and has appealed for help from the industry in finding new premises following Sandra's retirement. "As a charity we do not have sufficient funds to lease office space. We are seeking help from an organisation, supplier, cleaner or launderer who will provide an office, at a peppercorn rent, from which staff can operate."

Anyone who feels they can help should contact Mike Clark on 01926 316512.
