Satra's Fabric Care centre has taken on former Sketchley man Peter Beer to help expand and it develop its training programme.
Mr Beer worked as a trainer for Sketchley for nearly 40 years and will use this extensive experience in his role as Satra's training development officer.
He will be involved both in on-site training at drycleaning businesses throughout the country and in courses at Satra's Kettering headquarters.
He will also work alongside head of Fabric Care Christine Richardson to develop the range of courses which has expanded considerably over the past two years.
Talking about his role, Peter Beer said: " I'm looking forward to using my experience at Satra and helping to get the message over about the many facilities the Fabric Care department can offer."
