Satra reports record year and plans further expansion

27 June 2006

The results were announced at the AGM on June 13, when the company also detailed further expansion for 2007.

Chief executive Dr Ron Whittaker said that the success reflected substantial internal improvements to ensure the company provided a fast response with competitively priced but highly authoritative reports to members. Membership income reached £2million plus, for the third year running and Satra now has more than 1,600 members in 70 countries.

Future plans

The growth in business over the last 12 months, means that Satra now makes full use of the 26,000 ft2 extension built in 2004, and has drawn up plans for a further 20,000ft2, the final phase of its laboratory development, which will probably be built during 2007.
