Italy: The organiser of Expo Detergo (November 8 to 11) says it is confident the 2002 show will eclipse previous events. As pre-registrations close over 160 companies have signed to exhibit and a total 12,000m2 has been booked. The main aim this year will be to raise the event's international profile. The last show was attended by 16,330 visitors, 5,000 of whom came from outside Italy.
The show will take place in the new Portello section of the Milan trade fair centre, and the organiser says the pavillion layout has been redesigned to ensure visitors can find their way around easily.
