Simon Weston to speak at the All Industries conference

9 February 2009

Simon Weston became known for his struggle to overcome his injuries (46% burns) suffered when the Sir Galahad was destroyed in Bluff Cove in 1982.

He successfully rebuilt his life and has become active in several charities including the young people's charity, The Weston Spirit, the Royal British Legion and the Royal Star and Garter Home. In 1992 he was awarded the OBE for his charitable work in the Queen's Birthday Honours list.

The conference programme will also include Peter Wennekes of Cinet, the Mintel view of the drycleaning market and James Timpson on “Upside-down Management”.
