SLEAT names its centenary year president

2 March 2007

Sheldrick thanked the Society at a meeting held in Newbury, Berkshire, and said he especially looked forward to the anniversary luncheon to be held at Launderers Hall in London on 20 September 2007.

He takes over the SLEAT presidency from Dennis Rutland, who has been unwell for a number of months. Due to this and other circumstances, Mr Rutland felt he was unable to fulfil the duties of president in the best interests of the Society for the remainder of his term of office. The SLEAT council expressed its thanks for all his hard work in promoting the Society throughout the laundry industry

Dennis Rutland said: “It was a great honour for me and for Jensen UK, to be elected as president of SLEAT. I have tried to raise the profile of the Society at the many events I have attended.”
