SLEAT to set Clean UK dates

27 January 1999

Details of the dates and location of the next Clean UK exhibition are due to be announced in the near future by the Society of Laundry Engineers and Allied Trades.

The society’s exhibition committee is evaluating proposals for the event, which is scheduled for 2001, from three exhibition organisers. Clean UK is designed to be a showcase for equipment, ancillary products and services for both the drycleaning and smaller laundry markets.

SLEAT, founded over 90 years ago, currently has 48 companies in membership, including all the major suppliers to the UK textile care sector.

Special meetings are arranged for three industry areas: drycleaning, on-premises laundering and industrial laundering.
