3 February 2014

As the 2014 Winter Olympics start in Sochi, the host city's new industrial laundry, the Cotton Way is getting ready to provide those taking part and visitors to the games with a daily supply of clean linen.
The Cotton Way laundry, which is part of group, can handle up to 100tons per day and has received the RAL Quality Certification Mark 992 for professional laundry services (RAL-GZ 992).
The laundry operates on an 8,600 square metre site, which is 3km from the Olympic village. Around 300 trained employees will work in shifts seven days a week. After the games finish, the laundry will be kept busy year round serving the tourists that visit this popular Black Sea resort.
Kannegiesser equipped the laundry with two tunnel washers, five ironer lines and nine dryers. BurnusHychem supplied the chemicals and dosing and has developed the wash processes.
The Cotton Way group has 12 laundries, which are primarily based in large cities including Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Omsk, Novosibirsk, Nizhny Novgorod, and Kazan. It also has a network of around 30 textile service centres.
