Members of the industry's dinner club - the Sunrise Club - visited LCN's printers, Williams Press, at the end of last month (October). The visit proved a great draw and, bolstered by members of the lunchtime diners' club Whitsters, almost 30 people attended.
The works tour included everything from pre-press to printing and culminated with the folding, binding and trimming of the November edition of LCN. Thus the guests had a souvenir of their visit.
Dinner followed, and the Whitsters Club invited Sunrise Club members to attend their November luncheon meeting.
