Tagsys launches RFID "try and buy" programme

13 June 2012

Under the terms of the programme, textile services companies can rent, install and test Tagsys’ RFID-based management system for up to three months. After this trial run, they can either return the equipment or buy it at a special price and move to extending its use.

The management system’s central monitor provides a detailed analysis of the processes carried out for each tagged item as it passes through the various RFID stations. The system will also track the tagged linen through a complete database.

Angeline Fraud, Tagsys marketing communications manager, said that the “try and buy” programme had been developed specifically for the textile rental services market and provided companies with a complete “end-to-end” system.

“We presented the programme at Texcare and were very pleased so see that it was very well received. It is taking off in Europe and this confirms the readiness of our market.”
