The Clean Show 2001 education programme has something to interest all industry professionals.
Although popularly known as the Clean Show, the exhibition’s official title is the World Educational Congress for Laundering and Drycleaning.
It is therefore appropriate that the seminar programme, organised by five of the show’s sponsors, figures prominently. At previous exhibitions these educational sessions were found to frequently attracts overflow crowds.
This year sessions are conveniently scheduled from 8 - 11 each morning so that those attending have plenty of time to look round the exhibition.
Topics are designed to reflect the varied interests of the show audience and focus on areas such as technology, marketing, training, business and personnel management, legislative and regulatory issues.
While the programmes are geared towards the sponsors’ own sector many of the sessions have a much wider appeal and visitors are welcome at any session, whether or not they are members of the sponsoring body. Programmes are given by:
The Coin Laundry Association (CLA) representing laundry and drycleaning store owners, distributors and manufacturers.
The International Fabricare Institute (IFI) representing retail drycleaners, launderers and wetcleaners.
The National Association of Linen Management (NALIM) serves managers of institutional laundries in hospitals, hotels, nursing homes and public facilities.
The Textile Rental Services Association of America (TRSA) represents companies engages in textile care and rental services to commercial industrial and institutional businesses.
The Uniform & Textile Services Association (UTSA) is the body for companies providing uniform, wipes, mat and dust control services to industrial clients.
