The company produces luxury bed and table linen and bathroom textiles. It has an annual turnover of 18million Euros.

Rivolta Carmignani handles all stages of production from weaving, treating and finishing the fabric to manufacturing and embroidering the finished products at its site in Macherio in northern Italy.

All textiles go through strict quality controls at every stage to ensure that they meet the high standards of the luxury establishments they serve. The company has an extensive clientele of about 10,000 businesses in Italy, USA, Europe, Mexico, Canada, the United Arab Emirates, the Far East and Japan. Customers include hotels, spa and healthcare businesses and restaurants.

Rivolta Carmignani also supplies commercial laundries, cruise companies and airlines with their linen.

Managing director Aldo Rivolta said that the company attaches great importance to the independent certification of its products under OEKO-TEX Standard 1000.

“The wide-ranging criteria for the standard guarantee the requisite safety, particularly in sensitive product areas such as bedding and bed linen,” he said.
