Plans for the businesses are still being finalised. However, Timpson managing director James Timpson, told LCN that the purchase will give his company around 250 Sketchley drycleaning outlets including those in Sainsbury's.

He said that both the Sketchley and SupaSnaps branding would be retained, although Mr Minit outlets would now be rebranded as Timpson.

He said that the Sketchley acquisition was not its first venture into drycleaning, as Timpson outlets had been used as collection/delivery points for some seven years, although he did not say where the processing was carried out.

In all Timpson will now have over 900 outlets, including those gained by the acquisition, and its full list of services will include full drycleaning, photo processing, shoe repair, key cutting, engraving and watch repair.
