The Tonrose Group, the supplier of linen to the UK’s hospitality and leisure trade industry, has appointed Chris Porter as commercial director for Tonrose. Porter will work alongside the board of directors to help realise the group’s expansion plans. He will be tasked to help further establish its growing portfolio of brands within the laundry sector.
The Tonrose Group includes Tonrose (hotel and leisure linen), Tradelinens (luxury linen), Tielle Love Luxury (retail) and Sirona (specialist spa trade).
Within the wider Tonrose Group, Porter will work closely with the marketing, procurement and technical divisions to oversee customer experience, product development and identify new market opportunities.
Porter joins The Tonrose Group from his role as sales and marketing director at Denwa, having previously worked as an accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers and the head of sales and marketing at Crow Wood Leisure.
