Triebe laundry installs Jensen CompactLine 600

The latest development in tunnel-washing technology has six chambers each taking up to 50kg of dry linen. The system is designed with complete chamber separation and Jensen says that this provides a high degree of flexibility in loading and low water and energy consumption.

Triebe laundry was founded in 1955 in Bad Wildungen and moved to Edertal in 1970. The family-owned business is run by Dirk Langhammer and his wife Beate. It employs around 16 staff and currently processes approximately 1.4 - 2.0tonnes/day and operates up to seven days a week. The laundry's main customers are in the hotel and restaurant sector.

Dirk Langhammer says that installing the Compactline 600 has produced 25% savings in energy costs. He adds that the CompactLine also uses considerably less water and around 65% less detergent than the previous machines.

The pre-wash, main wash and rinse cycle in the CompactLine 600 are carried out in the bath change operation. At the end of the line, the Senking SEP50 HD press ensures low residual moisture, which helps to reduce energy consumption.

The TopDrain system provides an excellent hygienic environment. From the press, the washing is fed via a moving belt into two Senking DT60 dryers, where it is either conditioned or fully dried. The system is connected via Ethernet and equipped with panel PCs.
