TRSA lines up convention speakers

9 September 2010

This year's convention is the first since the Uniform & Textile Service Association (UTSA) and TRSA joined forces.

It is expected to attract 150 owners, operators and senior executives from the largest national, regional and local linen, uniform, industrial and healthcare laundries from across the country.

Guest speaker Todd Buchholz, former White House director of economic policy under George Bush senior, provides insights from his latest book “New Ideas from Dead CEOs: Lasting Lessons from the Corner Office”, uncovering the secrets of great CEOs by examining their professional and personal lives.

Convention speakers include David Casavant, executive director of the Workplace Safety Awareness Council and John C Sullivan, senior manager, occupational safety and health at Sodexo and a former OSHA compliance officer.

Jeffrey Wohl and Ryan Hess will talk about wage and hour compliance requirements for laundries.

Sean McArdle will give a presentation on “Upselling in a Down Market”.
