TSA appoints business development manager

1 September 2005

Ian Simpson has been associated with the TSA both in Scotland and nationally for many years and is a long-standing industry representative for detergent suppliers and those of linen and napery products.

TSA chief executive Murray Simpson called Ian Simpson's appointment significant. In a time of industry consolidation and contraction, the TSA needs to make special efforts to recruit new members and to ensure that both members and auxiliary members take an active role in the Association.

Replying Ian Simpson said he saw the appointment as a chance to encourage friends and business contacts to join and enjoy the advantages of membership.

He looked forward to seeing new and old members at the TSA Scottish Conference, at the Moat House Hotel, Glasgow, 7 - 9 October.
