TSA backs the use of RFID

30 April 2014

The Textile Services Association has confirmed its support for the use of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). It says the technology will underpin the improvement of many aspects of the textile services industry and help the relationship between suppliers and customers, allowing both to work more efficiently and profitably.
TSA explains that electronic tagging of linen provides inventory control, allows for much more effective co-ordination and collaboration between customer and supply chain, and improves the monitoring of linen stock's flow and quality, recording data for inventory, management and sorting.
