TSA Scottish event runs parallel laundry and cleaning programmes

In the laundry programme Russell Baldwin, national operations director for Initial Textile Services, advises on how textile rental companies can "Maximise profitability, minimise cost", while Patrice Vandendaele, managing director Devan Chemicals (Belgium), talks on "Anti-microbial fabrics to meet urgent developments in workwear and healthcare".

The drycleaning session lists: "Tough rules, tough survivors" when Alex Reid's Pat Dowling explains the final rules governing solvent management; Mike Palin, technical director TSA, details "Care label changes"; and Richard Neale, Drycleaning Technology Centre, advises on "Avoiding problems", summarising techniques to achieve customer satisfaction.

At the joint session Roger Salmon, executive chairman of OCS-Smarts Group gives his tips for "Motivation and leadership - how we develop managers". TSA chief executive Murray Simpson updates on negotiations with Government.
