The Scottish TSA has set its annual conference for October 18 to 20 at the Dundee Hilton. The announcement came at the Scottish AGM, an event attended by 51 drycleaners - a record audience. At the meeting, chairman Ian Simpson handed over to his successor Alex Bruce.
The meeting also heard Pat Dowling of Alex Reid talk on the Solvent Emissions Directive and what cleaners need to do to comply, and a talk by Graeme Calder of New Wave Laundries on the development of his business.
