TSA starts Pillow Talk training

27 January 2000

The TSA’s Pillow Talk marketing initiative gets off the ground this month with a series of sales training sessions held at venues across the country. Pillow Talk, the first in a series of initiatives, aims to change TSA members’ approach to the hotel business, and the training sessions will be an important part.

The events will be run by Cambridgeshire-based training company Talking Shop. Trainer Stewart Theobald said much of the training would be based around the TSA’s Pillow Talk pack, already being hailed as a “must-have” sales tool. Delegates attending the sessions will be taught to present the key points of the market research to their hotel clients, as well as general sales techniques. The TSA says response to the initiative has been so great that a second series of training events will be held in the Spring.
