TSA to join UK Fashion and Textile Association

30 September 2009

UKFT represents fashion, clothing and knitting businesses across the UK and is designed to bring together trade associations in the fashion and textiles sectors to give the industry a single and more powerful voice.

Murray Simpson told a recent meeting of the Whitsters Club that it makes sense for TSA to work with UKFT on common issues but that it would still act independently on matters directly related to the laundry and drycleaning industries.

Formerly the British Clothing Industry Association (BCIA), the UKFT guides and advises its members on all the essential aspects of running a business and supplying clothing and knitwear to the global marketplace. Through its export division, UK Fashion Exports, it gives help and advice on how to achieve sales in overseas markets.
