US Dry Cleaning paid $792,932 in an all-cash purchase transaction. The combined revenue of the stores is in excess of US$7.8m annually.
Robbie Lee, chairman of US Dry Cleaning, said: "Tuchman's, as the dominant drycleaning chain in Indianapolis, is an example of the type of well-managed chain we target. “
US Dry Cleaning plans to look for additional locations for Tuchman stores to further service its growing customer base in Indiana.
"We intend to continue to operate the stores with the existing, highly respected management," said Deborah Rechnitz, chief operating officer of US Dry Cleaning.
