On 28th September 2024, Washco will be ramping up their support for the charity by taking part as a company in the Chiltern 50 Challenge, a fundraising event featuring a range of ambitious trek and trail runs.

Washco’s managing director, Peter Hosking, said: “We are delighted to support Young Lives vs Cancer as our chosen charity for this year and help make a difference. Having had the privilege of visiting Jean’s Home, their Home from Home facility in Southampton, we witnessed first-hand the amazing impact they have on the families they support. We look forward to helping this incredible charity continue their hard work.

Dominique Davis, director of income generation, Young Lives vs Cancer, said, “We are thrilled to be Washco’s new charity partner and are looking forward to working closely together to help support thousands of children and young people affected by cancer. Today, 12?more children and young people in the UK will hear the devastating news that they have cancer and the impact on their lives is far more than medical. With WASHCO’s support we will be working to make sure they get the right care and support at the right time.”
