Whitsters names convenor

His successor as the club’s ninth convenor is Lee Cummins. Mr Goodliffe congratulated him on his appointment, and also thanked him for all his effort and enthusiasm as secretary during the past few years, which played such an important part in promoting the club and strengthening its membership.

The Whitsters’ Club was founded in 1924, and Lee Cummins follows a long line of well-known persons in the laundry industry, including Ancliffe Prince, Michael Ross, Arthur Kennedy, John Ruggles and Dennis Hargreaves.
