Wraps helps speed Paragon's recovery after fire

15 October 2009

Richard Langhorn, Paragon’s projects and safety director, says that the fire occurred at one of the busiest times of the year, when the laundry was already working “flat out.” The Bridgwater site produces more than 200,000 items each week so Paragon had to act quickly to increase capacity at Ross-on-Wye.

To help in this increase, Paragon bought a AS95 sleeve wrapper and HST95 shrink tunnel. Wraps’ ability to deliver the equipment within four weeks rather than the 9-12 weeks normally required for installation, proved an important element in Paragon’s quick recovery.
