Xeros, the UK inventor of the patented polymer-bead based water and energy saving cleaning system, opened its North American headquarters at Manchester, New Hampshire, on 15 October.
The company has appointed three industry veterans to lead its North American sales and operations and to support its customers. They are Jonathan Benjamin, president North America; David Kaupp, vice president of marketing; and Jim Basler as director of operations.
The Xeros system was officially introduced to the North American market at this year's Clean Show. Benjamin said that the Xeros system is "the first real innovation in the laundry industry in more than 60 years." He added that already, several customers in the USA are using its polymer bead technology.
These include the Hyatt Regency in Reston, Virginia; Crest Cleaners in Clifton, Virginia; and Sterling Linen Services in Manchester, New Hampshire.
