Xeros Technology Group, the developer of polymer bead-based textile cleaning, said it had signed an eight-year contract with the New York-based eLaundry.com, to provide washing machines for its on-demand laundry service.
Xeros will provide and service eight washing machines under its Sbeadycare package. The agreement is expected to be worth approximately $1million in revenue to Xeros over the course of the eight-year contract. eLaundry.com operates currently processes over 3.6 million pounds of laundry per year. It provides laundry services to consumers as well as commercial customers, including hotels, spas, salons, universities and restaurants.
"This is a substantial long-term contract and further evidence that customer momentum is continuing to build in our commercial laundry business," said Xenos chief executive Mark Nichols. "Our Sbeadycare service agreements provide customers with the security of long term support and planned preventative maintenance. They also provide us with visibility of forward turnover and contribution."
