Yates hits a hole-in-one

4 June 2014

Richard Yates, sales director of Linen Connect, marked a personal triumph recently when he hit his first ever hole in one after being a keen golfer for 30years.
Yates, who was accepted into The Worshipful Company of Launderers last year, was playing in the Prince Arthur Cup, the largest one-day foursome competition in Europe, one that is only open to Livery Companies.
On the 11th hole of the Old Course at Walton Heath, he "holed his 6iron" and achieved this long-held ambition.

AMBITION ACHIEVED: Richard Yates, second from right, with from left: team mates, Colin Hill, Ivan Kerry and Alan Beach
