Under the alliance Veit will concentrate on selling Polypack bagging machines whilst Polypack will focus on developing its product range and on providing service and technical support.
Veit’s president Günter Veit said that the alliance extends the longstanding and successful co-operation between the two companies. He added that both companies’ customers would benefit from the merging of expertise and from an extended sales network that can communicate quickly and easily with local markets.
Matthias Müller, general manager of Polypack, said that his company was happy to share its expertise in this strategic partnership, which was designed to increase sales in markets common to both companies.
Both partners will presenting their products at a joint stand at Texprocess, the show for the garment industry, which takes place in Frankfurt on 24 – 27 May 2011.
