The investment will extend the floor-space for assembly, metal stamping and press shop by 1,858m2 (20,000ft2). It will also add 250 skilled jobs to the company’s current 1,300 workforce.

The expansion is scheduled to be completed by summer 2013 and is expected to increase production capacity for small-chassis washers and dryers by more than 40%.

CEO Mike Schoeb says that the company is seeing unprecedented growth across the whole product range. He adds that demand for its small-chassis machines, both in the home market and internationally, is driving this phase of the expansion.
