The Four Seasons Healthcare group is one of the UK’s largest independent providers of nursing and care homes. Its choice of laundry provider was influenced not only by the equipment but also by Girbau’s aftersales’ support and free laundry design service.
The Headington home, which caters for up to 60 elderly residents, installed two HS-6013 (13kg) washers, two (23kg) gas dryers and a small rotary press from Girbau UK.
Staff are now able to launder 25kg of bed linen and towels every hour, said care home manager Roy Bicknell. “Our laundry must have the ability to process the home’s washing quickly, efficiently and be cost effective, and with as few breakdowns as possible. We have had a number of Girbau machines in the last couple of years and found them to be extremely reliable. We are now looking at purchasing even more.”
