It is nearly Christmas so in the spirit of the season, The Worshipful Company of Launderers has been busy raising money for charity in time for Christmas. After a rocky start, which involved a pulled Achilles tendon, a group of determined Launderers manned a stand the 2025 Red Cross Christmas market at the famous and historic Guildhall in the City of London.

Grateful thanks go to Johnsons Service Group, Royal Jersey and Dash Linen for supplying table linen to sell on the Launderers’ stall and the intrepid sales team who manned the stall doing a brisk trade selling the linen. This included Past Master David Pantlin, Peter Johnston, Past Master Colin Hill, Jane Hart, Annie Gale, Susana Pantlin and Minnie Arslan.

Well done to all who took part. The total raised by the Launderers stall was £1,751.“Give Something back – join the Company of Launderers” www.launderers.co.uk
