The Mayor of the City of Salford Councillor Val Burgoyne presented the citation to Harrison at an event attended by 50 war veterans from Salford in the Salford Suite at the city’s Civic Centre on 9 November 2007.
Guild president receives Veterans badge
Former serviceman and the present national President of the Guild of Cleaners and Launderers and Master of the College of Fellows, Derek Harrison, was presented with the Veterans Badge by Barbara Keeley, MP for Worsley, on behalf of the Under Secretary of State for Defence.
