Guarantee Laundries, an independently owned company with bases in both Dorset and Wiltshire, secured a £4million investment from Barclays to support a management buyout (MBO) and relocation.
According to an update on the company’s social media, the funding has supported the MBO and the company is currently preparing to move to a new 38,000 sq ft laundry facility in Stalbridge. It has also secured more than 100 jobs.
Guarantee Laundries was founded in 1901 and is headquartered in Sherborne with a second facility in Corsham, Wiltshire. It provides laundry and linen rental services to luxury hotels in the South of England and supplies workwear and laundry for the food and manufacturing industries.
