Tradelinens has launched what it describes as a pioneering partnership programme for up-and-coming designers as the luxury linen hospitality brand seeks collaborators for a limited edition programme.

Tradelinens, the global supplier of luxury, long-lasting linen to the hospitality sector, is seeking designers to be part of its new limited edition programme. Working with the consumer-facing division of the business, Tielle Love Luxury, the designers will have the opportunity to create a brand new, limited run of five-star bed linen or table linen, expertly produced in Italy and available for consumers to purchase through the website.

Tradelinens has supplied linen to many of the world’s finest five-star hotels, including including The Savoy, The Pigs and The Firmdale Group, for over thirty years and after many requests for customers to be able to experience the same linen in their homes, Tielle Love Luxury was born. The brand is no stranger to supporting grassroots design, having worked with the British Institute of Interior Designers (BIID) for three years as an accredited course supplier.

Interior design students are able to gain credits towards their BIID annual membership by attending the approved CPD (Continuing Professional Development) course on linens and towelling as crafted by experts at Tradelinens.

The new limited edition initiative is a first for Tradelinens and will see two designers a year chosen to create one-off ranges for the brand. Emma Hooton, an interior designer specialising in residential and boutique hotel projects is a long-standing partner of Tradelinens. She said: “As a designer, I know how important beautiful, well-designed spaces are to quality of life and well-being. The global recession sparked by the pandemic is making it increasingly difficult for young people to launch creative careers.  It's fantastic that Tielle is giving budding designers the much-needed help they need to launch their careers.”

In keeping with the style and requirements of five-star hotels, both the hospitality products provided by Tradelinens and the consumer facing products from Tielle Love Luxury are distinct in look and feel, boasting white and grey colourways in order to complement a wide range of settings. The limited edition range provides an opportunity for a new direction for both the brand and the designers.

Catherine Morris, managing director at Tradelinens, commented: “Bespoke design isn’t a new thing for Tradelinens, is something we do regularly for our prestigious hotel clients, so we’re excited to now be able to show our consumer audience the full extent of our expertise, through partnerships with up and coming designers. We’re thrilled to be providing this springboard for some of the amazing talent out there and nurturing those just starting out in these tough times.” The first limited edition range is set to launch in spring 2021.
