Klopman is unveiling more than 12 new products in its range of protective clothing fabrics, stretch and Greenwear at a special online event, live now. Klopman produces fabrics for workwear at a rate of about 40 million metres a year from its headquarters in Frosinone.

The new products are the result of extensive research and development aimed at offering customers more and more varied choices, especially taking into consideration the needs arose during the pandemic, said the company.

The Klopman Virtual Showroom is a web-based environment with an interactive and immersive experience, designed to reproduce, in the most realistic way, the atmosphere of the sector’s main trade fairs.

Klopman has grown the Protectivewear selection, supplementing the flame-retardant fabrics in the K-Flame range with a series of high-performance products. In particular, K-FLAME PRO Flex 320, a modacrylic-based textile which guarantees protection to the wearer together with excellent shape-recovery for maximum comfort. Two further products, K-Flame PRO A + 180 and K-Flame PRO A + 200, have been specially designed for the Asian petrol- chemical market with NFPA 2112 certification.

The company's trademarked Greenwear range is enriched with two high-visibility protective fabrics, respectively made with recycled polyester and its trademarked TENCELfibre. They ensure maximum respect for the environment, combined with worker comfort and protection, said Klopman.

The company’s stretch fabric collection is now supplemented with an entire range of ‘4-way stretch’ fabrics. Weavex and Twiflex can be stretched in all directions and have been specially designed to give comfort and freedom of movement to the wearer. The superior elasticity and recovery qualities of these fabrics make them ideal for all types of physically active occupations and they can be industrially washed at 75°C.

There will also be a special section in the Virtual Showroom for a quiz where visitors will be asked for their opinions, exploring the future of workwear in the post-pandemic era.

"The presentation of over 12 new products, including fabrics and finishes, in a time heavily affected by the pandemic and with such an absolutely innovative tool as the Virtual Showroom, demonstrates once again the vitality and solidity of a company like Klopman. Our aim, thanks to a constant effort in terms of innovation, is to continually strive to satisfy the ever wider and ever-changing needs around the world,” commented Klopman managing director Amaury Sartorius. “Our goal is to offer fabrics that are increasingly comfortable, versatile and able to offer protection from multiple risk factors, while maintaining the high quality that has always distinguished Klopman. The pandemic has upset the world, our lives and consequently the economy, and work clothes are inevitably destined to change. The products we present in our Virtual Showroom are a first response to these important challenges.”
