West-Midlands based, Multibrand Services is celebrating 20 years of trading with its 350th installation of Miele Professional laundry equipment. The business supplies and installs a range of predominately Miele commercial appliances into housing association properties and on behalf of property management organisations.

Multibrand anticipates 20% growth by the end of the current financial year due to both expansion in these sectors and the success of its partnership with Miele.

Multibrand is involved across the whole spectrum of social housing, from sheltered sites to general needs properties with commercial laundries, drug rehabilitation centres to specialist accommodation for young families.

Social housing is a highly regulated industry in need of specialist advice and support. With housing stock containing a diverse range of both commercial and domestic appliances, Multibrand recognised an opportunity to help the sector by providing a ‘one-stop’ solution for their needs.

Mark Rogers, Multibrand commercial director, said: “Miele Professional is the perfect fit for this sector who needs high-quality laundry appliances that are reliable, long lasting and which are robust enough to withstand constant use.”

Orbit Group, one of the leading providers of social housing in the UK, is just one example where Multibrand is the appointed contractor. Others in Multibrand’s portfolio include the likes of Bromford and Midland Heart where arrangements have been in place since 2003.

Multibrand is also in conversation with others with a view to supporting yet more companies who need to replace their laundry equipment or install machines in newly built properties.

Sam Bailey, sales & marketing director at Miele Professional said: “Multibrand became one of our approved partners in 2011 and I’m delighted to see the business go from strength to strength. It looks like the best is yet to come as Multibrand further extends its reach in the social housing sector and I wish them every success for the next 20 years!”
