Following a successful showing at Texprocess/Techtextil exhibition in Frankfurt earlier this year where its innovative, sustainable solutions were presented and awarded prizes, hawo with its 100% plastic-free Orgnix packaging concept is at The Clean Show in Atlanta. The Organix team will be available on Stand 3870 to answer any questions.

Hawo’s Organix concept was included in the ‘Sustainability at Techtextil/Texprocess’ programme in the run-up to the Frankfurt fair. As for the exhibition itself, the company is hoping to replicate the interst at Clean. Ruwen Sanchez said: "We are still completely overwhelmed by the number of visitors to our stand in Frankfurt. The interest in our 100% plastic-free packaging solutions is immense and the discussions with the trade visitors clearly showed us that the topic of sustainability is just as important for our customers as it is for us."

The  visitors who came to the hawo/Organix stand were not only surprised by the ‘green’ stand design, but also by how easy it is to switch to 100% plastic-free and sustainable packaging, said the company. Organix is not only an environmentally friendly alternative for dry cleaners and laundries but also addresses the entire textile value chain. Especially the Organix self-adhesive bags, which were presented at the fair for the first time, met with lively interest from manufacturers, textile garment makers and mail order companies.

Product manager Wolfram Krattinger explains: "As a sustainable alternative to conventional polybags, our 100% plastic-free self-adhesive bags are a simple and quick way to demonstrably improve the ecological footprint of companies. The fair here in Frankfurt proved one thing very clearly to us – sustainability has long since ceased to be a trend in the textile industry, but is rightly a key criterion for decisions and investments. We are proud that so many customers will go down this path with us."
